Bulls add imports to roster for 2023

The Franklin Bulls are continuing to add fire power ahead of the 2023 SalsNBL with two outstanding imports.

Forward Jamaal Brantley will suit up for the Bulls after spending the Australian NBL Season with the grand finalists, the Sky Sport NZ Breakers.

"Jamaal Brantley is going to be an invaluable leader within our group. The Bulls are getting an experienced, intelligent, and selfless person who is an even better player - especially for the Bulls style of play. Jamaal has an innate feel for taking small advantages and making them bigger. Moving the ball quickly, being decisive on the floor and exploiting whatever opportunities the defense presents. He is comfortable in a variety of positions and brings a great balance of size and skill that will allow us to exploit match-ups as we see fit.

On the other end of the floor, Jamaal's physical versatility will be a tremendous weapon for us. Equal parts strong and fast, there will be few players on the floor that he is unable to defend. He will be a perfect fit for the aggressive and disruptive style we will be bringing to that end of the court - something that will be essential to us establishing The Franklin Way. Says Head Coach Daniel Sokolovsky

Jamaal will be at the pre-season hit-out against the Auckland Tuatara Sunday 26th at the Stockyard (Franklin Pool Leisure Pukekohe), tip off at 5.30pm.
