Position:    Forward

Home Town: Wellington

Last SalsNBL team: Franklin Bulls (Injured)

Last Team: Surrey 89ers (SLB)

After having season ending news with a previous injury in 2024, we are excited to have Jordan Hunt resign for the Franklin Bulls in SalsNBL season 2025. Jordan Hunt, the 6'9 forward who spent 3 seasons with the Hawks previously to 2024, has decided to return for the remaining SalsNBL Season with Coach Sebastian Gleim.

Hunt has spent the past six months in the United Kingdom playing in the SLB for the Surrey 89ers, currently averaging 6 points, 4 rebounds and 1 block in 15 mins of game time.

Head Coach Gleim says Hunt completes a line up of bigs for the Bulls 2025 campaign.

"Jordan Hunt is a very smart player with valuable experience in our league. He’s played alongside Ethan before and will be a great addition to our flexible big man rotation.

We truly missed him during the 2024 season due to his unfortunate injury, and on behalf of the entire team, I want to extend our support and well wishes as he continues his recovery. I’m really looking forward to having Jordan join us once he wraps up his time in the UK for the 2025 Sal’s NBL season."

For Bulls fans adding another Tall Black in Hunt, rounds out a talented roster of big men who will be an exciting watch at Bulls games during the season.

“Jordan is an exciting talent, and we’re confident fans are going to really connect with him this season. It’s fantastic to see him healthy and ready to compete on New Zealand soil once again.” Adds General Manager, Jamie Reddish.

Hunt will arrive in time for our upcoming game against the Nelson Giants on May 18th.
