The Franklin Bulls are delighted to announce the re-signing of Zion Anderson for his second season with the club in the 2026 Sal's NZNBL campaign. The young wing returns after a solid debut year for the Bulls in 2025.
A former New Zealand U18 trialist and product of Harbour Basketball, Anderson originally relocated from Tauranga (Whai) to Franklin ahead of the 2025 season to elevate his professional career. Now entering his second year with the Bulls, he has committed to the club's new philosophy of Local, Loyal and Committed
"We have gone after players who want to be here. Zion is a perfect example of a top quality emerging talent that get's what we are trying to build. We are proud to welcome him back for a second year. We are excited to see what 2026 holds for him." GM Jamie Reddish
Anderson first appeared in the NBL with the Tauranga Whai in 2024 before joining Franklin last season.
"Zion is a talented young wing with his best basketball ahead of him. He is an accomplished youth player ready to take the next step in his basketball career. We are thrilled to have Zion joining us in Pukekohe!" Head Coach Dan Ryan
The Franklin Bulls welcome Zion Anderson back to the whānau and are eager to see his continued development in the upcoming Sal's NBL season.
