Perry signs with home club

After strong showing at the NZ Secondary School Nationals and the NBL 3x3 competition last year, Former Pukekohe High School student, Brody Perry re-signs to make it three years with the Franklin Bulls.

Perry, best know for his stunning Mullet and physical defence, will suit up as part of the #SalsNBL club’s 2024 squad. This is Brody’s third year with club, starting in high school year 12 and developing through the grades at age group level. Brody represented New Zealand in the U17 squad alongside new Bulls’ teammate Dante Matakatea in 2022 and last year lead the Pukekohe High School prems to their first ever Nationals.

“Brody has been with us since he was a kid. He was 10 years old when he started playing for Franklin Basketball. He’s been one of those players, along side his teammates that has lead the way for our younger players.. I am excited for Brody to continue to develop under Coach Sebastian Gleim.” Says Bulls Co-founder Jamie Reddish

Perry competed in the NBL 3x3 competition along side his brother Corey, helping the team to their best finish at a 3x3 tournament, beating the Tuatara to advance to the playoffs.
