Kael Robinson Returns to the Franklin Bulls for 2026 SalsNBL Season

The Franklin Bulls are proud to announce the signing of Waikato local Kael Robinson for the 2026 Sal’s National Basketball League (SalsNBL) season.

Robinson returns to the Bulls after previously representing the club in 2022, bringing with him valuable experience gained through the United States college system.

Following his time in New Zealand, Robinson continued his development in the U.S., competing most recently for Northern Kentucky University, where he established himself as a versatile guard/forward capable of impacting the game on both ends of the floor ad have a hugely successful Senior year.

“It was great having Kael for 15 games in 2022. He came in and made an impact, averaging 16 minutes and shooting over 40% from the three. We know he’ll make an impact for us this season. We are excited to have Kael back home.” Says GM Jamie Reddish

In the 2025/2026 collegiate season, Robinson averaged 14 Points 4.5 rebounds and almost 40% from the three. Highlighting his growth and efficiency at the next level. His ability to stretch the floor will add significantly to the Bulls firepower.

“Kael is coming off an amazing college career in the US. He is a skilled player capable of both scoring and creating. He has a bright future as a professional basketball player and we are thrilled to be part of the first step in that journey. Welcome to Franklin Kael!” Says Head Coach Dan Ryan.

With experience both internationally and in the SalsNBL, Robinson’s return adds depth, energy, and familiarity to the Bulls roster. Robinson will suit up for the team soon.
