DKP stays with Bulls for SalsNBL 2024

The Franklin Bulls are excited to announce the signing of Dominique Kelman-Poto.

Throughout the 2023 season DKP showed his talent and helped the Franklin Bulls to the club's second playoff appearance in 4 years and this time a semi-final. His effort last season saw DKP secure an injury replacement spot with the New Zealand Breakers. 2024 Head coach Sebastian Gleim understands what Kelman-Poto brings to the squad this season and it helps having guys returning to the club.

"We are very happy that we have Dom back in the team. He made a big step forward last season. He is a unique player who is able to attack on different ways, from different positions."

Former GM and Headcoach Jamie Reddish saw how influential a player DKP can be, especially after leading the team in points and rebounds in the first ever Bulls squad in 2020.

"Dom was a crucial signing this year. We've seen him get better and better and having been working with Coach Dan at the Breakers we are excited to have him a on the roster once again. "

And fans will be happy, with much speculation on whether or not DKP will sign again. Fans commenting on all past signing social media posts for 2024 with comments hoping the man with most "colourful hair in basketball" would be the next signing.

"Dom is a great guy and our fans love him. We can't wait to have him back in the stockyard, especially re-uniting with Isaac and Sam from the 2020 squad; year five is going to be fun" adds Co-founder of the Bulls, Scott Kelso.
