The Bulls are thrilled to announce the signing of Carter Whitt, point guard from Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.
Whitt, brings professional experience from Germany’s ProA league, where he most recently suited up for Nuernberg Falcons BC. In the 2025-2026 season with the Falcons, he averaged 10.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, showcasing his playmaking ability, court vision, and scoring versatility.
A standout collegiate career preceded his move overseas. Whitt graduated from Belmont University in 2025 after transferring from Furman University (where he averaged 7.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in 33 games during the 2023-24 season) and earlier time at Wake Forest.
Whitt attended Belmont, the same school that Head Coach Dan Ryan, ran basketball operations. This is yet another player/coach connection which the Bulls are taking full advantage of.
"We know coach would have the connections to find outstanding players, who understood what we were hoping to achieve this year. Carter has already settled in and we are excited to see what we can do along side our imports and locals. Welcome Carter." Says GM Jamie Reddish
"Carter is a dynamic point guard. His ability to play with pace in transition, playmake out of pick and roll, and guard the ball defensively are all reasons we are excited to have him this season. Welcome to Pukekohe Carter!" Says head Coach Dan Ryan.
The signing bolsters the Bulls young local backcourt with a proven point guard to general the Bulls.
Carter will play his first game vs the Tuatara on Saturday night and then the first home game on April 16.
