With the every team working hard to get their squads sorted for 2021, the EnviroNZ Bulls coaches continue to make great signings, adding Auckland star Denhym Brooke to the roster.
Denhym was drafted by the Taranaki MountainAirs for the 2020 SalsNBL Showdown and was a stand out performer in his first professional outing. Averaging 58% from the field and contributing 4 rebounds a game on a team, known for size, scoring and rebounding. Denhym recorded a high 17 points (7 from 8) in a high scoring win over eventual champions the Otago Nuggets.
"Denhym is one of those guys who has an incredibly high ceiling and he's a player that we see playing a pivotal role with us over the next few seasons. His size and athleticism will be big for us and he's only going to get better" says head Coach Jamie Reddish.
Before deciding to take his game professional, Denhym spent 4 seasons in Hawaii with BYU and with Hilo in the Pac West conference. Averaging almost 7 points, 3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks a game.
