Result: Franklin Bulls (98) defeat Big Barrel Hawke's Bay Hawks (82)
Franklin fans would be in for great game as the home side would look to bounce back against a resurging Hawks. The first quarter would belong to Carter Whitt as the floor general would opt to put the bucket in the hoop for 12 first quarter points. Despite the flash of scoring, the Hawks would make some good shots to stay within 3 as the first quarter would end. The Hawks would take the second quarter as some good scoring from the starting five. They'd have their own 3 point lead entering halftime. The Hawks would begin with a third quarter run but an injury to Dan Grida meant the visiting side lost a pivotal player.
