He's shifted north after a long stint with the Southland Sharks, to once again play in front of his home fans in South Auckland. The Franklin Bulls welcome back, 2020 Bull, Dominique Kelman-Poto.
Kelman-Poto is currently with the Tall Blacks at the #3x3Asia Cup in Singapore!
The 28-year-old posted averages of 15.6 PTS, 8.9 REB, 3.5 AST & 1.1 STL on 57.5% shooting from the field in 11 games with the Sharks last season.
Bulls Head Coach Daniel Sokolovsky knows what DKP can bring to the Bulls in 2023.
"We are very excited to be adding Dom Kelman-Poto to the team. Dom is a proven force in this league, someone with the skill, IQ, and physical tools to make an immediate impact on both ends of the court. "
"He is at a juncture of his career where there is clarity of purpose. It is a major asset to have someone of his caliber, both personally and athletically, solely focused on impacting winning. He is an essential piece of the puzzle as we assemble a group that is going to help establish what Franklin Basketball really stands for." Adds Sokolovsky
The Franklin Bulls kick off their campaign against the Hawkes Bay Hawks on April 6th.
