2020 SALSNBL - BASIC INFO

The Sal’s NBL will tip off in Auckland on 23 June, featuring seven teams that will compete for the 2020 Championship, fully broadcast by Sky Sport.

The Auckland Huskies, Canterbury Rams, Franklin Bulls, Manawatu Jets, Nelson Giants, Otago Nuggets and Taranaki Mountainairs will play up to three games per week, over six weeks. All teams will be based in Auckland, with the venue to be announced in due course.

2020 SALSNBL - PLAYER DRAFT

One of the biggest talking points surrounding the Sal's NBL 2020 competition is the player draft that will see 84 players selected by the seven teams on Thursday 11 June.

Not only is it a first-ever for New Zealand's premier basketball league, but it also comes with a unique set of rules that require plenty of strategic thinking by coaches and players alike.

The draft is open to anyone to register. But you must a eligible. Coaches and General Managers will determine their teams based on the list of registered players. Get involved and register!
