Bull Runs - NBL Trial Games 

The Franklin Bulls would like to invite players to the Bull Run to compete over a 3 week scrimmage designed to help players expose their skills to Bulls coaches as both a development opportunity and a trial for salsNBL 2024. This is not exclusively a trial but a chance for you come, play and chat to the Bulls staff and coaches about your development. 

The aim of the Bull Run:

• Exposure for players 16 years old and above (unless invited) to come and play in front of Bulls NBL coaches.
• Development and a chance to chat with other players and coaches about playing in the NBL.
• Compete against other players from around the regions in order to experience higher level competition.
• Opportunity for selection to one of the Bulls NBL programs. 
• Conducted over 3 weeks to help coaches work with players to get a better understanding of players development. 
• The scrimmages will be refereed to help with the competition (TBC)

What do you need to do?

1. ALL Players must registered to help with organising numbers. Please provide as much playing experiences details as possible to help with team allocations. 
2. Trial Fee of $20 to cover all trial dates that is required at time of Check In at the first trial via cash of eftpos. 
3. Wear black and white reversible, Water Bottle and any equipment you require for warm ups. 

Bulls coaches will run the program. Runs will be conducted in shorter games to ensure visibility for all trialists. 

Location: Franklin Pool and Leisure, Pukekohe. 

Dates:

Run 1 - Sunday 4th Feb, 5:30pm - 8:30pm

Run 2 - Sunday 18th Feb, 5:30pm - 8:30pm*

Run 3 - Sunday 25th Feb, 9.00am - 12.00pm* (Check In from 8.30AM)

*Final two weeks will be attended by Bulls Head Coach, Sebastian Gleim.

It is expected that Trialists attend all three trial dates.

Check In will open at 4:30pm each trial day.
